Stone Sessions Season 1, celebrating the artists of Guam, is in production with Thrive Media Group.

Lessons for kids who have never held an instrument, and for adults who always meant to learn.

We teach private lessons in person on Guam, and we run group classes and school workshops by inquiry. Bring your own ukulele if you have one, and if you do not, ask us about borrowing one for your first lesson. Either way, you will play something on day one.

Choose the lesson length that fits your week.

Prices are per lesson. Packages are on the way, so ask about one when you book.

If you are not sure where to start, ask us about a trial lesson.

Getting started takes three steps.

  1. 1

    Pick a format

Choose thirty, forty-five or sixty minutes one on one, or a group of four to eight for friends, family or a class.

  2. 2

    Ask for a time

Tell us the days and times that suit you, and we will reply to confirm a slot.

  3. 3

    Show up and play

Your first lesson covers how to hold the instrument, how to tune it, and two chords you can use that same night.

Taught by people who play here.

We are finalizing the instructor roster, and bios and availability will appear here as soon as it is set.

Four-pack and eight-pack lesson bundles are on the way.

Until they are ready, lessons are booked one at a time, so mention a package when you inquire and we will sort it out.

Questions people ask before they book.

Cancellations, no-shows and students under 18 are covered on the lesson policies page.

Do I need my own ukulele?

It helps, but we can lend you one for a first lesson. If you decide to keep going, the Stone Tenor Alder is the one we recommend for beginners.

How young is too young?

Most kids are ready around six, when their hands can reach a tenor neck comfortably. If your child is younger than that, ask us and we will give you an honest answer.

Where are lessons held?

Lessons are in person on Guam, and we confirm the exact place when we set up your first lesson.

What is the cancellation policy?

The lesson policies page has the details, but the short version is that if you give us a day's notice, you keep your lesson.
