Stone Sessions Season 1, celebrating the artists of Guam, is in production with Thrive Media Group.

The sound of positive vibes starts with one chord.

Stone Music Co. is Guam's ukulele brand. We exist so that more people, from Guåhan to wherever the island's families have landed, pick up an instrument, play, and pass the good feeling on.

Rooted in CHamoru identity, and open to everyone.

The latte stone in our logo is the CHamoru pillar that held up homes across the Marianas for centuries. It stands for where we come from, and for the idea that a community rests on whatever holds it up: family, respect, and the songs everybody knows by heart.

You do not have to be CHamoru to belong here. Guam has always been a place where people from everywhere end up at the same table, and a ukulele is the easiest instrument in the world to pass around it. If you love music, you are already one of us.

Four strings and no excuses.

A ukulele fits in a backpack, costs less than a phone, and a six-year-old can play a song on it the first afternoon. Every fiesta, beach afternoon and back-porch jam on this island has one within reach. We wanted the instrument in those hands to say Guam on it.

That is what positive vibes means to us. Not a mood you buy, but the feeling in a room when someone starts a song and everyone else joins in.

Every Stone is designed on Guam and built to our spec, then set up and inspected here before it ships. They are different woods in different body styles, so each one has its own character, and the full spec is on every product page, because quality that means something is quality you can check.

Five commitments that shape everything we do.

  • Positive Vibes

The instrument is a reason to get people into a room together, and the room is the point.

  • Guam First

CHamoru identity anchors the brand. We build for the island first, then for the diaspora, and then for everyone else.

  • Community Over Everything

Jams, lessons and school programs come before anything that only sells. If it does not bring people together, we are not interested.

  • Quality That Means Something

Ox bone, Aquila strings and a matte finish are specifications you can check, not adjectives we hope you will believe.

  • Access for Kids

We want instruments and lessons in the hands of children who would not otherwise get either, and we are building the program to do it.

It started with a borrowed ukulele.

Stone began with a borrowed ukulele, a self-taught player who went on to teach kids and adults across the island, and a partnership with STONE Stylee, the Guam lifestyle brand founded by Tre Blas. That is the whole origin story, and the rest of it is the music.

Pick up a tenor, learn two chords, and bring positive vibes into the next room you walk into.
